That's awesome news! I figured it might happen. I live in DC and remember seeing Ratdog play on a freezing cold January day in 1996.

As previously referenced, check out the Rex Foundation benefit show coming up in December (about 2 weeks before Phil, Bob and Jackie at the Civic):

The Rex Foundation's Silver Anniversary Event: Sweet Music Everywhere

On Saturday December 13, the Rex Foundation will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. The organization will host Sweet Music Everywhere, a concert that will take place at the Warfield Theater. Peter Rowan will perform in a number of settings, appearing in the Rowan Brothers, Crucial Reggae and the Peter Rowan Blue Grass Band. Other Confirmed artists include Panjea with Michael Kang, Jackie Greene, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and the Brass Mafia. Additional guests are pledged for the show and given the size of the venue as well as the Rex Foundation's origins as the Grateful Dead's official charity, it is certainly not out of the realm of possibilty that some members of the group will appear as well.
